Madeline Tregre died 4 Apr 1911, wife of Pierre Tregre. Place of interment not specifically stated in abstract but her obituary lists her death as on 10 Apr 1911 with services at St Peter Church in Reserve and interment in family tomb in St John the Baptist Cemetery, Edgard. She is listed in the index to St Peter Church Funeral Book III, p 109, which would be a mid 1911 funeral, and, the funeral record likely would note her burial in Edgard.

3Obituary, LE MESCHACÉBÉ, issue of 15 Apr 1911, p 1, St John the Baptist Parish, LA, Public Library, Laplace, LA. "Mrs Pierre Tregre.
Among the victims claimed by the hand of death in our parish, none was more universally regretted than was Mrs Pierre Tregre, who departed this life at 7 o'clock Monday evening, surrounded by the members of her family and fortifed by the consolations of the Catholic Church, of which she was a devout member. Mrs Tregre was a native of this parish, where she was born seventy-eight years ago. In 1855 she married Mr Tregre, who survives her and who is now eighty-three years of age and the oldest planter in this parish. For these long years the husband resided in the same locality, rearing a large family. Mrs Tregre's death left in its wake consolation mingled with sorrow. Nothing crowns our life's work better than the manner of our leaving it, and most true it is of the deceased. She realized at the end the reward to a life well spent. The esteem in which Mrs. Tregre was held by the public as well as her family, was demonstrated in the number who came to sympathize with the bereaved, notwithstanding the very inclement weather. The funeral services were held at the St Peter's Catholic Church by Father Badeaux on Tuesday evening, with all the solemn rites of the Church and interment took place in the St John the Baptist's Catholic Cemetery, where the old family tomb still stands. The pallbearers were the four sons, Wilson P, Louis, Leonce and Henry J and U Eyma and Octave Robeau. Mrs Tregre, who was a Miss Madeline Robeau is survived by her aged consort, Mr Pierre Tregre; four sons, Wilson P Tregre, Louis Tregre, Leonce Tregre and Henry J Tregre and two daughters, Mrs U Eyma and Mrs A T Perilloux. Besides these, Mrs Tregre leaves thirty-three grand-children, nineteen great-grand-children, two sisters and two brothers. Mrs Tregre had been a sufferer for four years. Everything possible was done; there was always a smile for the invalid. With resignation she bore her painful affliction."
