Company "G" 3rd Engineer Training Regiment THE UNITED STATES ARMY, as a Testimonial
of Honest and Faithful service is hereby Honorably Discharged from the military
service of the United States by reason of service no longer required as set
forth in letter UGO Va .USCO 259 par. e Camp Humphreys, Va. Dec. 12, 1918.
Said Cyrenius Van Mater Bennett was born in Red Bank,
in the State of New Jersey, When enlisted he was 21 years of age
and by occupation a Clothing Cutter. He had Brown eyes, light
Brown hair, light complexion, and was 5 feet 7 1/2 inches
in height.
Given under my hand at Camp A.A. Humphreys, Va. this 12th day of
December, one thousand nine hundred and eighteen.

- Red Bank Register, 7 Jun 1893. VACCINATION AND BLOOD POISONING
James [sic] and Willie Rowland, sons of James H. Rowland, an
expressman of Branchport, recently met peculiar deaths. The boys were
vaccinated a few weeks ago, and about the time the vaccination was taking
they went in swimming. Blood poisoning set in, causing their deaths.
James [sic] died on Saturday, May 27th, aged ten years. Willie was eight
years old, and he died the following Monday.

DEAD
Lillie May Rowland . . . died this morning of hasty consumption, in her
seventeenth year. She had been in failing health since July, being
compelled to resign her position at Steiner's Mill, where she was
employed. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 1:30 o'clock at
the house, and two o'clock at First Reformed Church. . . . Interment will
be made at Greenlawn Cemetery.
