Mary Waters of Goytre.

In the name of God Amen I Mary Waters of the parishe of Goytre in the County of Monmouth & within the Dioces of Landaffe widd being sick in body of good & pfect memory praise be given unto Almighty God do make & ordaine this to be my last will and testamt in manner & form following. First & principally I commend my soule into the hands of the Allmightey God hopeing through the meritts death & passion of my savio’r Jesuss Christ to: full & free pardon of all my sins & to inheritt everlasting life. And my body to be buried at the discretion of my executrix hereinafter named.

Imprimis I give & bequeath unto Mary Water the daughter of John Water the sume of two pounds after my decease when shee shall accomplish the age of one & twenty yeares & that are to be sett out to bear interest to her use from the day of my buriall untill shee attains the age of one & twentie yeares by my executrix.

Item I give & bequeath unto my cousen Anne Prichard the sume of five? shillings within the space of one month after my decease to be paied by my executrix.

Itm I give & bequeath unto my cousen Ann Morgan Thomas the sume of five? shillings within the space of one month after my decease to be paid by my executrix.

Itm I do nominat appointt & ordaine my cousen Sarah Bevan the wife of John Bevan of the parish of Goytre to be sole executrix of this my last will & testament revocking disannulling making voyd all former wills ever by me made but that this only is to be my last will & testamt. In wittness hereof I have here unto put my hand & seale the nine and twentith day of February one thousand seven hundred thirtey and one. The mark of Mary Water.
