            In the name of God Amen I Viny Burgh of the parish of Langunnock in the County of Monmouth widow being weak in body but of sound mind memory and understanding praised be God for the same do make this my last Will and Testament in manner and form following (that is to say)   I give and devise all my estate right title and interest of in and to all that messuage with the garden orchard lands tenements hereditaments and premises with the appurtenances called Langunnock containing by estimation about eighty acres (be the same more or less) situate lying and being in the several parishes of Langunnock and Lanvihangel Tor y Mynith in the said County of Monmouth (except one fourth part whereof my son George Williams will be entitled to immediately after my decease) and subject to the payment of all my just debts and to the incumbrances affecting the same in manner following (that is to say)  As to one undivided moiety or half part thereof to my son Edward Williams and his assigns for and during the term of his natural life and immediately from and after his decease to all his children lawfully begotten and to their heirs and assigns for ever as tenants in common and not as joint tenants.  And as to the other undivided moiety or half part thereof to my son John Williams and his assigns for and during the term of his natural life and immediately from and after his decease to all his children lawfully begotten or to be begotten and their heirs and assigns for ever as tenants in common and not as joint tenants.  I give and bequeath all my goods chattels personal estate and effects of what nature or kind soever to my said two sons Edward Williams and John Williams to be equally divided between them.  I hereby nominate constitute and appoint my said sons Edward Williams and John Williams joint executors of this my last Will and Testament hereby revoking and making void all and every former and other Will and Wills by me at any time or times heretofore made and do declare this to be my last Will and Testament.  In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this thirteenth day of May one thousand eight hundred and fourteen.  The mark of the above named Viny (X) Burdg

NOTE:  I understand that the parish of Llangunnock is now within the parish of Llanvihangel Torymynydd.  DW

 

Note – This person died in 1823 and is buried at Llanfihangel Torymynydd
