                I Samuel Baker of the parish of St Brides Netherwent in the County of Monmouth farmer do hereby make publish and declare this to be my last Will and Testament in manner following.  I give and bequeath unto my dear wife Catherine Baker all those freehold messuages tenements dwelling houses lands and premises situate at Saint Brides Netherwent in the County of Monmouth with the hereditaments and appurtenances thereto belonging now in my own possession and which …? bequeathed to me by the  Will of my late mother Grace Baker for and during the term of her natural life and from and after the determination? of that I direct that the same shall be sold and divided equally between those of my children as directed by the will of my late mother and as to all the rest and residue of my freehold and leasehold estates and also all monies securities for money debts household goods linen plate china stock crop and all other my estates both real and personal whatsoever or wheresoever situate and being and which I shall or may die possessed of I give and bequeath the same and every part thereof to my wife Catherine Baker for and during the term of her natural life and then to be divided among such of my children as may then survive in an equal proportion and lastly I do hereby make constitute and appoint my dear wife Catherine Baker sole executrix of this my last Will and Testament hereby revoking all former Wills by me at any time heretofore made and declaring this to be my last Will and Testament.  In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this twenty ninth day of December 1812.  Saml Baker (LS).

            Signed sealed published and declared by the testator Samuel Baker as and for his last Will and Testament in the presence of us who in his presence at his request and in the presence of each other have subscribed our names as witnesses.  John?             Proved at London 17th March 1813 before the Judge by the oath of Catherine Baker widow the relict and sole executrix to whom admon was granted she having been first sworn by Commission duly to administer.
