In the name of God Amen I Cathering Rosser of the pishe of Mamhilad wthin the Countie of Monmoth and Dioces of Landaffe widdow being weake and sicke in body but of good and pfect memory laud and praide bee unto Allmightie God my only maker and redeemer doe make and ordaine this my last will and testament in maner and forme followeing: First I comend my soule into the hands of Allmightie God my only Saviour and redeemer, and my body to be buried in the pishe church of Mamhilad. Imprimis I give and bequeath towards the church of Landaffe 4d. Itm I give and bequeath to my daughter Johan one cowe and one haifer of two yeare old comes May next. Itm my will is that my daughter Johan doth pay to my sonne in lawe William Thomas the some of fiftie shillings wch I owe him. Itm I give and bequeath to Johan my daughter twoo chests, one brazen pott and one brazen kettle. Itm I give and bequeath to Elizabeth my daughter one stander & one payle one brazen candlesticke. Itm I give and bequeath to my daughter Elnor one tubb. Itm for the rest of my houshold stuffe unbequeathed I give to my daughter Johan towards the burying of my body in a Christian buriall. Itm I doe nominate and appoint Johan my daughter a sole executrix of this my last will and testament. signed Catherinae Rosser
