This is the last will and testament of me John Pritchard of Garway Hill, parish of Orcop, County of Hereford. I give and devise all my property real and personal unto my two eldest sons George Pritchard and Francis Pritchard for their absolute disposal share and share alike subject however to the condition that they pay to my daughter Emily Pritchard the sum of twenty pounds, and I commend to their care my younger children trusting that they will deal kindly by them. Dated the 20th day of June in the year of our Lord eighteen hundred and eighty four 1884.

At Hereford on the 27th day of May 1885 administration (with the will annexed) of the personal estate and effects of John Pritchard, late of Garway Hill in the parish of Orcop in the County of Hereford who died on the 2nd day of November 1884 at Garway Hill aforesaid was granted to George Pritchard the son of the said deceased, one of the residuary legatees named in the said will he having been first sworn there not being any executor named in the said will.
