In the name of God Amen I Nicholas Prichard of the parish of Lantilio Pertholey in the County of Monmoth and Diocesse of Landaffe being in body sicke and weake but of good and perfect memory (thanks be to God) doe make and ordaine this my last will and testament in manner and forme following. First I bequeath my soule to God and my body to be decently buried in Christian burial. Item I doe give that one bakehouse and those fower parcells of land in the parish of Lanbeder and County of Brecon which I purchased for the sume of fower score pounds of David Nicholas my eldest sonne now deceased unto my wife Margery during the term of her life and after her decease unto John Nicholas my sonne the said John Nicholas paying the sume of twenty pounds a piece unto John Prichard of Langattock (the said John Prichard discharging the said John Nicholas of twenty pounds that he oweth unto the said John Prichard) and unto Arnold Nicholas and Margery Nicholas children of the said John Nicholas and whereas there is in the deed of purchase that I have of the saide bakehouse and the said fower parcells of land a provisoe of redemption my will is that if the heires of the said David Nicholas doe dismorgage the said lands and make payment of the said sume of fower score pounds together with their lawfull interest for the time passed att the time of the redemption thereof that then the use of the said fower score pounds shall remaine unto Margery my wife during her life as aforesaid and after her decease twenty pounds unto the said John Prichard he discharging the said John Nicholas of the twenty pounds he oweth him as aforesaid and twenty pounds unto Arnold Nicholas and twenty pounds unto Margery Nicholas children of the said John Nicholas as aforesaid and the at her twenty pounds to be att my wifes dispossing. Item I do give and bequeath my moveable goods and all the rest of my personall estate unto Margery my said wife. Item I doe nominate and appoint the aforesaid John Prichard to be the sole executor of this my last will and testament. In witnes whereof I have hereto sett my hand and seale the 28th day of Aprill Anno Regni Carolii Secundi &c 29 1677.
