William Powell of Cwmcarvan 1685.

Memorandum that William Powell of the parish of Cum Carvan in the County of Monmouth gent --? the first day of July in the yeare of our Lord one thousand six hundred eighty and fower whilst he was of sound and pfect memory made his last will and testament and delivered the same in these? words or words to this effect, that he gave and bequeathed unto Ann Powell and Blaunch Powell his daughters all that he was owner of adding that Elizabeth the wife of William James had had her portion? and that she nor her husband was to expect ---? ---? From him the sayd William Powell declaring the sayd Ann and Blaunch his executrixes in the presence of William Hoskin, James Hoskin and Sacheus Rogers.
