In the name of God Amen, I Thomas Poiskins of the parrish of Cumcarvan in the County of Monmouth & Diocess of Landaffe being sick in body but of perfect memory and understanding thanks be given to Allmighty God, doe make and ordaine this my last will and testament in manner and forme following (viz) . First and principally I commend my soul into the hands of Allmighty God my maker and redeemer hopeing that through the meritts death and passion of my saviour Jesus Christ to receive free pardon and forgiveness of all my sins and to inheritt eternall life. And my body to be decently buried at the discrecon of my execrx hereafter named. And as for my worldly estate I dispose as followeth.
Imprs. Item I give and bequeath unto my daughter Anne Poiskins the sume of fifthty pounds to be paid her within one yeare after my decease with one feather bed and its appurtences and one bass kettle.
Item I give and bequeath unto my daughter Mary Poiskins the sume of fourty pounds being a mortage upon a medow in ye pish of Langoven and County sfforesaid now in the possession of George Williams in ye afforesaid oarrish of Langoven, and it is my will that my said daughter Mary is to receive ye said sume of fourty pounds at the time of payment mentioned in ye deed with one cubbord, one table and one brass kettle.
Item I give and bequeath unto my daughter Elizabeth Poiskins the sume of fourty pounds to be paid her within four yeares after my decease.
And it is my will and meaning that if any of my said daughters Anne, Mary and Elizabeth die before they receive ye said portion or portions that then the said portion and portions of such said decedent or decedents shall be paid unto the survivors or survivor of them and my meaning is equally divided between them.
All the rest and residue of my goods and chattles whatsoever I doe give, devise and bequeath unto my beloved wife Hanna whome I doe nominate and appoint full and sole exetr of this my last will and testament. Revoking, disanulling and making void all former wills and testaments by me heretofore made.
In wittness whereof I have hereunto put my hand and seale the twenty first day of November in the yeare of our Lord God 1712.
