In the name of God Amen I Sarah Parker of Saint Arvans in the County of Monmouth widow being of sound and disposing mind and memory but considering the uncertainly of life do make this my last will and testament in manner following. Imprimis I give to my son John Parker one bed bedstead and furniture and one saddle with rings to it. I give to my son Jacob Parker two beds bedsteads and furniture, one large oak table six oak chairs a desk and the kitchen grate. I give to my grand daughter Betty Parker, daughter of my son Isaac Parker the sum of five pounds. I give to my son George Parker one bed bedstead with pcod? hangings a small oak table, a large chest five silver spoons and a china tea pott. I give to my daughter Mary Parker two beds with blue hangings the clock an oak table in the kitchen the best grate six walnutt chairs, the --? press a dressing table, a tea table, a square oak table, hanging looking glass, the white quilt the best sheet and table cloth a napkin, a tea tongs, and hand board, two spits a slice and tongs, four brass candlesticks, a warming pan, a brass pot and two brass kettles one large silver spoon four large pewter dishes four small pewter dishes and a dozen pewter plates which she my said daughter bought of Isaac Parker. All my dairy goods I order to be equally divided between my daughter Mary Parker and Jacob Parker. I give to my daughter Sarah Smith four dishes of pewter a diaper table cloth, and a napkin a walnut table four dishes of pewter, a pewter plates four brass candlesticks. I give to my daughter Esther Edwards one bed bedstead and furniture a large chest of drawers, seven cane chairs a tea table a standing looking glass a diaper table cloth, and a napkin and one iron boiler that is in the wall. (all the rest of my goods stock of cattle horses and sheep to be equally divided between John Parker, Jacob Parker, George Parker, Mary Parker, Sarah Smith, Betty Lewis and Hesther Edwards, my son John Parker paying out of his share the sum of twenty pounds to my executor herein after named) my son George Parker paying out of his share the sum of ten pounds to my executor and my daughter Hesther Edwards the sum of fourteen pounds and also that each of the above legatees shall bear an equal share in paying my debts and funeral expences and lastly I make and appoint my son Jacob Parker whole and sole executor of this my last will and testament revoking all other wills by me heretofore made and whom I charge with the due execution of this my will according to the true intent and meaning thereof. This will was proved at London the thirtieth day of May in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and eighty eight before the Right Worshipful Peter Calvert, Doctor of Laws, Master Keeper or Commissary of the Prerogative Court of Canterbury, lawfully constituted by the oath of Jacob Parker the son of the deceased and sole executor named in the said will to whom administration was granted of all and singular the goods chattels and credits of the said deceased having been first sworn by Commission duly to administer.
