William Nicholas, Llansoy, Mon WILL Proved 30 April 1707 LL/1707/109

 

In the name of God Amen, I William Nicholas of the parish of Lansoy in the County of Monmouth being of good & perfect memory doe make and ordain this my last will and testament. I commend my soul unto God my savior & my body the grave.

It: I doe give, devise and bequeath all that tenement with its appurtenances thereunto belonging where William Rice now liveth in ye Towne of Uske unto my loveing wife Elizabeth and my daughter Frances Nicholas jointly during the natural life of Elizabeth my said wife. After her decease I doe devise and bequeath all that tenement and house with its appurtenances unto my said daughter Frances and the heires of her body lawfully begotten or to be begotten. And in default of such issue unto my daughter Mary and Anne jointly for ever.

I doe give and bequeath all my goods, chattel, money & personal estate of what kind soever unto Elizabeth my wife and my daughter Frances Nicholas jointly upon condition they pay unto my daughter Mary Nicholas thirty pounds within one year after my decease and twenty pounds unto my daughter Anne within two year after my decease of lawful money of England my will is that my daughter Mary and Anne may have one feather bed a piece with their appurtenances my will & meaning is that my wife & daughter Frances shall jointly pay all rents other my debts. I doe nominate & appoint my wife lobe my whole exectrix of this my will & testament. Witness my hand and scale the 18th day of December 1706. Wm Nicholas
