The Manor or Lopp of Langom yssha, otherwise Gwrdabach
To the Courte of Phellip Nicholas gent, Lord of the saide manor, held there, the eight and twentieth day of Aprill in the yeare of our Lord, one thousamnd six hundred, fifty eight, before Edward Nicholas gent, Steward of the Lord there, Came Lewis Harris of Langom Yssha, in the County of Monmoth gent, and surrendered into the hands of the Lord, all his right, tithe, parke, claime, demand, and interest, of & in all those customary lands and tenements, with the appurtenances which are now in the possession of George Harris of Langivewe gent, or his undertenants, scituate, lyeing, and being in the parish of Langom yssha, the manor aforesaid, in the saide County to the use and behoofe of the saide George Harris of Langivewe aforesaide in the saide County gent, his heires & assignes for ever, to whome the Lord, by his saide Steward hath graunted feifin? hereof, to have and to houlde all and singular his saide parke, of and in the saide premisses with theire appurtenances, and all his right demand? and interest of and in the same, unto the saide George Harris, his heires, and assignes for ever, according to the custome of the manor aforesaide by the yearely rent of two shillings six pence, and the services thereupon due, and of right accustomed whereupon the said George Harris gives to the Lord for a fyne, and for licence to have ---? therein nyne pence, and for a harriett five shillings, and ha--? --? His fealty to the Lord, and is admitted a tenant thereof.

The manor of Westsland and Bringwin
The Courte Baron of Thomas Morgan, Anthony Englefield and Edmunch Plowden esquired and Lords of the said Manor there houlden the seaventeenth daie of November in the yeare of our Lord God 1658 before William Lewis deputy steward unto Hugh Lewis esquire and James Jones gentleman Chieffe stewards of the said manor and John Price Esquire and Thomas William John suitors there.
Unto this courte came John Thomas of Maes y Krugruenth(?) in the parish of Lanhileth in the county of Monmouth gentleman in his owne proper person and heer in open Courte accordinge to the custome of the said manor surrendered into the hands of the Lords by the Virge before the said deputy steward, and suitor there. All that the moytie, or one half of all those customary or copiehould messuages or tenements, edifices gardens, orchards, curtilages together with the moytie or one halfe of all the customary or copiehould lands arrable meadow pasture pastere seedings woodds and underwoods(?) with the appurtenances unto the said messuages or tenements belonginge or in aine wise appurteyninge with their appurtenances comonlie called, and knowne by the name of Maes y Kuyne? And which were heretofore the messuages, lands, tenements and premisses of William Watkin John, and Gwenllian his wife both deceased, scituat lyinge and beinge within the said parish of Lanhileth Manor aforesaid and County aforesaid betwne the Ryvers called Krewe, and Kiffyn, the highwaie called Kevenforth and the Ryver called Eboyth on all, or on most parts and sides thereof, as by ancient measures and bounds thereof could time used all the said premisses are well knowne To the use and behoofe of Edmund Morgan of the towne of Newport in the county aforesaid esquire and to his heires and assignes for ever accordinge to the custome of the said manor. Whereupon the Lords by the said deputy steward have granted unto him thereuppon seizin and possession. To have and tp hould the said premisses with their appurtenances unto the said Edmund Morgan his heires and assignes for ever accordinge to the custome of the said manor under the Rents, duties and services thereuppon due and of Right accustomed, and the said Edmund Morgan gave to the Lords for a ffine for such an estate, and ingresse see had in the said premisses, and the said Edmund Morgan made his fealtie to the Lords, and is admitted terrante thereof. These ffive customary tenants being then and there homagers (that is to saie) John Watkin, Gilbert Parker Morgan David, Roger phe and Lewis Rossers
