            In the name of God Amen the six and twentieth day of January in the year of our Lord one thousand seaven hundred and thirteen I Morgan Lewis of Lancayo within the pish of Uske in the County of Monmouth yeom being sick in body but whole in mind and of sound and pfect memory thanks be therefore given to almighty God doe make and ordaine this my psent last will and Testament in manner and form following (that is to say) first & principally I commend my soul unto the hands of almighty God and my body to be buried in Christian manner.

It I give and bequeath towards the adorning of the Church of Landaffe the sume of one shilling

It I give and bequeath unto my daughter Anne Lewis the sume of seaven? pounds by note due unto me from my father law George Thomas whereof I formerly received fourty shillings.

It I give and bequeath unto my sayd daughter Anne Lewis one brown cow which I had formerly had from ye sd George Thomas.

It I give and bequeath unto my sayd daughter Anne Lewis six sheep and my roan mare, one feather bed with appurtenances and one dust bed and three paire of sheets which I formerly had & rec’d from my late wife, the mother of my sayd daughter Anne Lewis.

It I give and bequeath unto my sayd daughter Anne Lewis one brass boyler one brass pot & one brass pan which I formerly had and rec’d from my late wife mother of my daughter Anne Lewis.  And alsoe give and bequeath unto my sd daughter Anne Lewis one warming pan and alsoe five pewter platters & one large pewter sauser?.

It I give and bequeath all and singular ye rest of my goods chattels household stuffe cattle & psonall estate whatsoever (and not hereinbefore by me bequeathed) unto my well beloved wife Mary Lewis:  And I doe here by nominat  [page damaged. DW] sayd wife Mary Lewis to be my sole executrix of this my psent last will and Testament and I doe hereby make voyd and null and every other wills Testaments & giufts by me at any time heretofore made and done ratifying & allowing this to be my last will & Testament and noe other.  In witnesse where of I the sayd Morgan Lewis have hereunto set my hand & seal the day & year first above written.  Signed Morgan (Mor) Lewis
