In the name of God Amen I Maud
Paske widow releict of Phillip Paske of the parrish of Cumcarvan in the
County of Monmouth being sick in body but of perfect memory and understanding
thanks be given to Allmighty God doe make and ordaine this my last Will and
Testament in manner and form following (that is to say) First and principally I commend my soul into
the hands of Allmighty God my maker and redeemer hoping that through the
meritts death and passion of my saviour Jesus Christ to receive free pardon and
forgiveness of all my sins and to inheritt everlasting life. And my body I commit to the earth to be
decently buried at the discreson of my exors hereafter named. And as for my worldly goods and chells I
dispose thereof as followeth.
Impris Item I give
devise and bequeath unto my grandaughter Margarett daughter of my son in
law William Morrish the sume of twenty pounds to be paid her when
she attaines ye age of thirteene years old.
Item I give and
bequeath unto my three grand children Henry William, Jane William
and Margarett William the sume of five shillings a peice to be
paid unto them within six months after my decease. All the rest and residue of my goods and chattles I give devise
and bequeath unto my son in law William Morrish whom I doe nominate and
appoint full and sole exor of this my last Will and Testament. In wittness whereof I have hereunto set my
hand and seale the twenty eight day of October in the yeare of our Lord God one
thousand seven hundred and eighteene.
