            In the name of God Amen I Margaret Jenkins of the parish of Langoven in the County of Monmouth spinster being sick and weak in body but of sound and disposing mind memory and understanding praised be God for the same do make this my last Will and Testament in manner following (that is to say) I give and bequeath all my goods chattels monies securities of money and all other my personal estate and effects of what nature or kind soever to William Williams of the said parish of Langoven in the said County of Monmouth yeoman his executors administrators and assigns and I do hereby nominate constitute and appoint the said William Williams sole executor of this my last Will and Testament hereby revoking and making void all former Will and Wills at any time heretofore made and do declare this to be my last Will and Testament.  In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal the thirtieth day of March in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and twenty three.  The mark of the above named Margaret (X) Jenkins.

 

Signed sealed declared and published by the above named testatrix Margaret Jenkins as and for her last Will and Testament in the presence of us who at her request and in her presence and in the presence of each other have subscribed our names as witnesses thereto.    Robert Thomas;  John Williams

 

17th day of April 1823.  William Williams the sole executor named in this Will was duly sworn as such and that the goods chattels and credits of the deceased are under the value of one hundred pounds before me

 

Diocese of  Landaff  In the Consistory Court.  In the Goods of  Mrs Margaret Jenkins deceased,

 

Appeared Personally William Williams of the parish of Langoven in the County of Monmouth, yeoman the sole Executor named in the last Will and Testament of the said Margaret Jenkins late of the parish of Langoven aforesaid spinster deceased, who died on the fifth day of April instant and made Oath that the Estate and Effects of the said deceased, for and in respect of which a Probate of the said Will is to be granted, exclusive of what the said deceased may have been possessed of or entitled to as a Trustee for any other Person or Persons, and not beneficially, and without deducting any thing on account of the Debts due and owing from the said deceased, are under the value of   one hundred Pounds, to the best of this     Deponent’s knowledge, information, and belief.  And lastly made Oath that the said deceased did not die possessed of any Leasehold Estate or Estates for years, either absolute or determinable, on a life or lives to the best of this      Deponent’s knowledge, information and belief.  Wm Williams
