This is the last will and testament of me Philip Lloyd of Kevintilla in the parish of Landenny in the County of Monmouth, yeoman, made whilst of sound and disposing mind, memory and understanding thanks be to God for the same. I give and devise all that orchard situate in the town of Usk and adjoining the turnpike road leading to Raglan in the occupation of John Price as tenant there of, and also all those my two? messuages or tenements situate in the said town of Usk in the several occupations of Rachel Watkins. Widow, and John Jones with the garden next to and adjoining the same and now in the possession of Thomas Roberts together with the pigscot in the occupation of John Roberts unto my daughter Margaret the wife of John Lewis of the same parish of Landenny. Yeoman, her heirs and assignees for ever to and for her own sole and separate use and disposal and not? --? --? Page damaged. Debts or --? Of her present or any future husband. Also I give and devise all those two messuages or tenements situate and being in the town of Usk in the several occupations of Thomas Roberts and John Roberts with the large garden as the same are now occupied by the said Rachel Watkins and John Roberts and the --? unto my daughter Jane the wife of Daniel Herbert to and for her own sole and seperale use and benefit and at her exclusive disposal independent of her present or any future husband for and during the term of her natural life and from immediately after her decease I give and devise the messuages or tenements in the occupation of the said Thomas Roberts with one
--? or half part of the garden last mentioned and one of the said pigscots unto my grandson Philip son of my daughter Jane his heirs and assigns for ever and the said other messuage or tenement in theoccupation of the widow Roberts with the remaining moiety or half part of the said garden and the said other pigscot I give and devise unto my grandson John son of my said daughter Jane and his heirs for ever. I also give and devise all that piece or parcel of meadow land and the and the wood thereto of adjoining called Piscarrow Wood situate in the parish of Lanbaddock in the said County of Moumouth in the occupation of Mr Philip Richards unto m daughter Catherine the wife of Joseph Davis of the Hamlet of Gwehelog, labr. for and daring the term of her natural life and from and after her decease I give and devise the same and every part thereof unto my grand children Joseph Lewis and Elizabeth Lewis their heirs and assigns for ever as tenants in common and not as joint tenants I give and bequeath unto my son Philip Lloyd the sum of one hundred pounds. unto my said daughter Margaret the sum of one hundred pounds and unto my grandson William son of my late daughter Sarah the wife of William Jones of Fawywain? the sum of sixty pounds. All the rest, residue and remainder of my real and personal estate and effects of what nature and kind so ever and wheresoever after payment of my just debts and funeral expences and the costs and charges of this my will I give, devise and bequeath unto my said son Philip. his heirs, executors, administrators and assigns subject nevertheless to the payment then out of the sum of twenty pounds unto my son John Lloyd. And I do hereby? appoint thent my said sons Philip and John executors of this my will hereby revoking all former and other wills and will by me at any time heretofore made and do declare this only to be my last will and testament. This is a codicil to the above written last will and testament of me Philip Lloyd of Keventilla in the parish of Landenny in the County of Monmouth. yeoman. bearing date the eighteenth day of November instant and which I desire may be taken as part thereof I do hereby revoke and make void the legacy or bequest of one hundred pounds given to my daughter Margaret the wife of John Lewis of the said parish of Landennv, yeoman.
