ELEANOR LEONARD LL 1844/13
I Eleanor Leonard Widow of the parish Bassalleg County Monmouth being of sound disposing mind and memory do make x(this my last)x and declare this my last will and Testament in Manner following, (that is to say) I order that all my just debts and funeral expences and charge of proving this my will be in the first place fully paid and satisfyed and after payment thereof and every part thereof I devise and bequeath all my Customaryhold Estates has I am in full and ample possession thereof in all its parts according to the Custom of the Court of the said manor of Rogerstone to my respective sons namely Joseph Leonard Edward Leonard William Leonard and Thomas Leonard share and share alike, I also give and bequeth to Daughter Ann Leonard spinster the sum of One Hundred Pounds of lawfull money of Great Brittain and Ireland Current in (this)x England to be paid at the expiration of twelve monthe after my death ~~~ I give and bequeath to my daughter Mary Jones wife of Daniel Jones Captain at Pill Gwenlly in the County of Monmouth the sum of Ten Pounds of lawfull money
of Great Brittain and Ireland Current in England to be paid at the expiration of twelve months after my death ~~~ I also give and bequeath One Hundred Pounds of lawfull money of Great brittain and Ireland Current in England to be divided share and share alike between my Grand Children sons and daughters of Daniel Jones Captain and Mary his wife born by lawfull wedlake at the time of my decease the same to be paid into a Bank at Interest till they each of them attain the age of 21 years I also give and bequeath unto my Grand daughter Elizabeth Morgan now living with me the sum of Ten Pounds of lawfull money of Great Brittain and Ireland Current in England the same to be placed in a bank at Interest till they attain the age of 21 years, I also give and bequeath to my Grandson Winsor Morgan now living with me the sum of Ten Pounds of lawfull money of Great Brittain and Ireland Current in England the same to be placed at Interest at the time of my decease till he attains the age of 21 years I also give and bequeath all my Household furniture to be divided Share and Share alike betwen my daughters
Ann Leonard Spinster and Mary Jones wife of Daniel Jones Captain at Pillgwenlly, and I do hereby nominate Constitute and appoint My sons Joseph Leonard & Edward Leonard both of them executors of this my last will hereby revoking and making void all former wills by me at any time heretofore made, and declare this only to be my last will and testament. In witness whereof I the said testratrix have to this my last will and testament set my hand and Seal this 29th day of January 1844
