In the name of God Amen the 13th day of January 1728-9 I Ann Leonard widdow of the pish. of Langattock Juxta Carleon in the County of Monmouth & Diocess of Landaffe being sick in body but of sound And perfect memory all praise be given unto allmightty God doe make and ordaine this my Last will and Testament In Maner and forme following first I recomend my Soule unto allmightty God my maker hopeing assuredly through the meritorious death of my blessed Saviour to be partaker of Life Everlasting and my body I recomend to the earth from whence it came to be Interred in decent buriall According to the discresion of my Exetor heare undernamed as to what temporal substance God hath blessed me with I dispose of as ffolloweth all my writs dues & depts first paid & satisfied Imprimis I doe give unto my Grand Son Thomas Williams one pound Item I doe give unto my Grand doters Ann Williams two pounds & a silke hood Item I doe give unto my Grand doter Margarett ~ Williams two poundes Item I doe give more to my grand doter Ann two pewter plates & one Iorne crock Item to my grand doter ~ Margarett more two pewter plates Item also I doe to my grand ~ doter Mary Williams three pounds two pewter plates the great and all my wearin apparel
Iorne Crock the bead sted where I Lies in ^ one blanket one sheate & the middle sise Creddle & the little Creddle to the above sd Ann more & one Sheat & one planket & also one Sheat & one planket more to the above sd Mar garett Item I doe give unto my grand doter Mary Lewis one great Ceaddle & one great peanter plater Lastly I doe nominate & appoint my Loving Son Henry Lewis to be Exetor of this my Last will & Testament uterly renounceing all former wills In Witness Whereof I have heare unto Subscribed my name & fixed my Seale the day above ~ Written/ Signum
