Be it remembred that I Alice Leonard of The pishe of Lankiby In the County of Monmouth Spinster, Being of sound and perfect memory, Considering with my Self the certainty of death & the uncertainty of the time of death, doe make & ordain this my Last will & Testament in maner & form folowing. viz
I Give & bequeath the three pounds which is in the hands of my neece Mawdlen & also the twenty shillings that is in the hands of Morgan Rignold Morgan of the pishe of Langattoke Carlion, amongst the Children of my Brother Thomas Leonard
I Give unto my two neeces Anne Leonard, & Margaret Leonard the daughters of my Brother Joshua Leonard the Sume of fifteen pownds.
I Give my trunk unto my said neece Anne Leonard together with two pewter platters, one tankerd, one brass Candlestick one pair of Sheets, & one great Caldron & one chair table & all the wearing aparell I had from my sister Anne
I Give my sd neece Margaret one fether bed, one pair of sheets one dark coloured rug & the curtains be= longing there unto, with two pewter platters one brass Crock one brass Candlestick & one Coopbowd table, one serge mantean & one searge petty coat
I Give unto my nephew Phillip Leonard my great Coffer.
I Give unto my nephew Joshua Leonard my fower footed Coffer & a marmite
I Give unto my nephews Joseph & William my brother Joshua sons all my sheep.
I Give all the rest of my goods & Chattells whatsoever unto my neece Alice Leonard the daughter of my Brother Joshua whome I name & appoint to be my executrix
