In the name of God Amen I Edward Jones of the parish of Langwm Ucha in the County of Monmouth and Diocese of Landaff, farmer, being of sound and disposing mind and memory do make and ordain this my last will and testament in manner and form following, that is to say. First I will that all my debts and funeral charges be paid and discharged by my executors herein after named. Also I give and bequeath to my well beloved wife Rachel Jones all and singular my live stock, house hold furniture, implements of husbandry, implements of dairy, goods and chattels with all now in my possession to be freely enjoyed be her during her natural life, and after her decease to my executors herein after nominated and willed. Ditto I give and bequeath to my well beloved son John Jones the sum of twenty pounds to be paid him in twelve months after my wifes decease. Ditto I give and bequeath to my well beloved son James Jones the sum of one hundred pounds of lawful money of Great Britain, to be paid him by my executors that is one moiety in a twelve months and the other moiety in two years after my wifes natural life. Ditto I give and bequeath to my son John Jones one cottage, gardens and a bout fours teres of land situated in the parish of Trosty and County of Monmouth and now in the occupation of David Phillips and all the appurtenances there unto belonging. Ditto I give and bequeath to John Jones my nephew, carpenter, the sum of five pounds. Ditto I give to Mary Reece my niece the sum of five pounds. Ditto I give to Ann Jones my niece the sum of ten pounds. Ditto I give to Edward Jones the sum of five pounds. Ditto I give to James Jones my nephew the sum of five pounds to be paid they and each of them seperately by my son John Jones out of the profits and rents arising from the said cottage in the parish of Trostry before willed and bequeathed to him the said John Jones and the sd sum to be paid they in a twelve month after my wife is decease. Lastly I give and bequeath to my well beloved sons Charles Jones and Thomas Jones whom I do nominate and appoint joint executors of this my last will and testament all and singular my live stock, house hold furniture, implements of husbandry, implements of dairy, goods and chattels, ready cash, Bonds, Bills and all now in my possession, rights and claim, to be freely enjoyed and possessed by they jointly equally and severally after my wife Rachel Jones is natural life and do nominate them to be trustees and guardians of over my three nephews and two nieces. And do hereby and utterly disallow, revoke and disannul all and every other former testaments, wills, legacies, bequeaths and executors by me in any ways before named, willed and bequeathed, ratifying and confirming this my last will and testament.
