In the name of God Amen, I Richard John of the parish of Nash in the County on Monmouth being weak in body but of perfect minde and memory thanks be to God I do hereby by these presence make and ordaine this to be my last will and testament revokeing all others hereafter to come and in the yeare of our Lord Christ one thousand seven hundred fifty and seven and so fourth.
Item I give and bequeth to my most beloved whife Mary all and singular my goods, chattells within and with out and to pay all depts and demands and to raise all depts, bills, notes or bondsif aney there be and my most beloved whife Mary is to be holey and soly my executrix debaring all others hereafter to come or prosseed? This will was proved at Landaff on the twenty second day of April in the year of our Lord Christ 1757 before the Reverend Mr Nathaniel Wells, Clerk, Master of Arts, the Chancellors Surrogate, by Mary John, widow, the relict and sole executrix in this will named who was first on the holy Evangelists personally sworn well and faithfully to execute the same, to exhibite an inventory &c and render a just account of her administration thereof when thereunto lawfully required.
