In the name of God Amen, I John John of the pish of Magor in the County of Monmouth, yeaman, make & ordaine this my last will and testament in writeing in maner & forme following. First I resigne my soul to God Almighty the Eternall and incomprehensible creator and disposser of all things & my body to be buryed in decent maner & for such estate it hath pleased God to bestowe on me I will, bequeath and dispose in maner & forme following. First it is my will that my debts, legacys & funerall charges be paid & discharged by my executrix hereinafter named. Imprs I give and bequeath unto my brother Jenkin John the bed & its appurtenaces that was formerly my brother Edwards to be delivered to him within a monthes time next after my decease. Item I give and bequeath unto my sister Ann John ye sume of five shillings to be paid to her within two monthes next after my decease. And lastly I do nominate and appointe my loveing wife Mary John to be my whole & sole executrix of this my last will & testament to whome I give all the remainder of all & singular my goods and chattells whatsoever & where soever they be. And I do hereby revoake all former wills by me at any time heretofore made & doe declare this writeing to be my last will & testament.
