This is the last will and testament of me James John of 33 Rhyswg Road, Abercarn in the County of Monmouth made this 13th day of October in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and twenty four I hereby revoke all wills heretofore made by me. I appoint Mr Silvester Pullin of Llwyn-y-nant Gwyddon Road, Abercarn in the County of Monmouth to be executor of this my will. I give, devise and bequeath unto my wife Emily John as long as she lives all my property which includes the house No 33 Rhyswg Road, Abercarn and all the furniture therein, also all War Certificates, monies & any other possession that belong to me with full power to use it as she thinks fit. After her death all the property or whatver ot it remains is to be equally divided amongst Ann Lewis, High Street, Abercarn; Havelock Albert John, 9 Beynon Street, Newbridge; Edwin James John, 33 Rhyswg Road, Abercarn; Thomas John Griffith, 16 Islwyn Road, Wattsville; James Edwin Griffith, 33 Rhyswg Road, Abercarn.
