In the name of God Amen I William Jenkins of ye pish of Lanvair Killgedin in the County of Monmoth Gent beinge sick in body but in full & perfect memory thanks be to God Almighty callinge to mind the mortality of my body knowing that it is appointed for all men to dye doe make & ordaine this my last will and testament first I recommend my sould unto God yt gave it mw and my body to the earth to buried in Cristian like & decent maner in ye parish Church of Goytre according to ye discretion of my executor nothinge doubtinge but att the general reserection I shall rece ye same againe by the mighty power of God touching such worldly estate where it hath pleased God to bless me in this life I give devise & dispose ye same in following maner & form Imprimis I give & bequeth unto Francis Jenkins my younger brother all that estat in Lanvihangell pont y moyle yt was purgis in my name beinge twenty pound p anum and likwise two houses which is in Carlion neare Usk to sd brother Francis. Item I give & bequeth all my houses lands and tenements in ye pish of Lanvair Killgedin unto my brother Francis Jenkins exceptinge one tenement in the sd pish which is not in my possetion till after ye death of my mother beinge the house where Thomas Harry nowe dwelleth beinge forty shillings a year by valuation for my brother Thomas Jenkins yt he my sd brother Tho Jenkins is to pay toward the use of ye poor in Lanvair Killgedin & ye poor of Goytre the sum of fourty pound of lawfull Englis money within six months after ye death of my mother. Item I give & bequeth unto my brother Tho: Jenkins ye sum of forty pound. Item I give my nice Mary Jenkins the sum of twenty pound. Item I give unto my sister Wenifreed Jenkins ye sum of twenty pound. Item I give unto my sister Mary Williams ye sume of hundred pound. Itt I give to my sister Jane Nicolas twenty five pound. Item I give to my sister Katherine Nicolas twenty pound.
