In the name of God Amen I Jacob
Parker of the parish of Lanbaddock in the County of Monmouth, yeoman, being
weak in body but of sound mind memory and understanding do make publish and
declare this my last Will and Testament in manner and form following (that is
to say). I give and bequeath unto my
dear wife Sarah Parker all my personal estate of what nature or kind
soever. And I do hereby give and devise
all my real estate in the County of Gloucester and elsewhere that I am now
possessed of unto my said wife Sarah Parker her heirs and assigns for
ever. And I do hereby nominate and
appoint my said wife Sarah Parker sole executrix of this my last Will
and Testament hereby revoking all former Will and Wills by me here before
made. In witness whereof I have
hereunto set my hand and seal this 17th day of August 1780. The mark of the said testator Jacob
(JP) Parker.
Signed sealed published and declared
by the sd testator Jacob Parker as and for his last Will & Testament
in the presence of us who have subscribed our names as witnesses hereto in the
presence of the said testator & in the presence of each other. Thos Prothero; Mary Price; M Davies
19th October 1780. Sarah Parker, widow, the relict and
sole executrix in this Will named was sworn to the truth thereof and to the
faithful performance of the same.

Proved at Caerleon
on the ninteenth day of October in the year of our Lord one thousand seven
hundred and eighty before the Reverend Benjamin Hall, Clerk, BD, the Chancellor’s
Surrogate by Sarah Parker, widow, the relict and sole executrix in this
Will named who was first on the holy Evangelists personally sworn well and
faithfully to execute the same to exhibit an inventory &c and to render a
just account of her administration thereof when thereunto lawfully required.
