Howell Howell of Llanover.

In the name of God Amen I Howell Howell the elder of the parish of Lanover in the County of Monmouth yeoman being in health of body but of sound and disposing mind memory and understanding praised be to God for the same do make this my last will and testament in manner following (that is to say) I give and devise all that messuage or tenement and outhouses together with the several pieces or parcels of land thereto belonging now in my own occupation situate lying and being in the said parish of Lanover in the said County of Monmouth containing by estimation fourteen acres (more or less) to my daughter Ann Howell her heirs and assigns for ever subject to the payment of one hundred and sixty five pounds and interest due and secured thereon by mortgage. I also give and devise all those several pieces or parcels of land called by the name of Gworlod y fynnon and Disculvach situate in the said parish of Lanover in the said County of Monmouthshire containing by estimation eighty five acres (more or less) to my son Howell Howell his heirs and assigns for ever. I also give and bequeath to my said daughter Ann Howell all my goods chattels personal estate and effects of what nature or kind soever. And I do hereby nominate constitute and appoint my said daughter Ann Howell sole executrix of this my last will and testament hereby revoking and making void all and every other will and wills at any time heretofore by me made and do declare this to be my last will and testament. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this eighteenth day of May in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and twenty one. The mark of Howell Howell.

Signed sealed declared and published by the above named Howell Howell the elder as and for his last will and testament in the presence of us who at his request and in his presence and in the presence of each other have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses thereto.
