Tracy als Henry Tracy of Trelleck in the County of Monmouth Esqr
being of sound and perfect memory praise be given to Almighty God doe make and
ordain this my last Will and Testament in manner and forme following (that is to
say) first and principally I commend my soul into the hands of Almighty God
hopeing through the meritts death and passion of my Saviour Jesus Christ to
have full and free pardon & forgiveness of all my sinns and to inherit
everlasting life and my body to the earth to be decently buryed at the
discression of my execut’r hereafter named whom I desire and hereby will that
he doth and shall expend and dispose of out of my ready moneys for and towards
my funerall the sume of three score and five pounds wch said charges I will
that they shall be first payd and satisfied.
Item I give and bequeath to my two sisters ten pounds apiece. Item I will that my execut’r content and
satisfie those that attend me in my sickness.
Item as for and concerning all my goods and chattells in my chamber and
elsewhere in the house where I now reside and inhabitte(excepting the remayning
part of my moneys and allsoe excepting such of my goods and chattells there as
I shall hereafter give or dispose of by Codicill) I give and bequeath them unto
my servant James George. Item I
give and bequeath to the said James George out of the remaining part of
my moneys the sume of twenty pounds.
Item all the rest and residue of my personall estate goods and chattells
whatsoever and wheresoever (excepting such thereof as I shall by my Codicill
give and dispose of) I give devise and bequeath unto my loving friend Henry
Lewis of Hygay in the said County of Monmouth whom I nominate and appoint
sole execut’r of this my last will and testament. And I doe hereby revoke annull and make void all former wills and
testaments by me heretofore made. In
witnesse whereof I the said Harry Tracy have hereunto sett my hand and
seale this seaventeenth day of June in the yeare of our Lord God one thousand
six hundred ninety and nine. Harry
