I Ann GWIN of the parish of Trellegg in the County of Monmouth Widow being in good Health and of sound Mind and Understanding do make publish and declare this my last Will and Testament in manner following I Give and Bequeath the following Legacies to be paid by my Executor within one Month after my Decease To my Sister Elizabeth MORRIS of Landogo Widow the sum of ten pounds To Alice GWIN of the parish of Trellegg Widow the sum of five pounds To my Kinswoman Martha HOPKINS of the parish of Landogo Spinster five pounds To Ann PRINCE of the parish of Lanvair Discoed Widow the sum of five pounds To Mary the Wife of James WILLIAMS of the parish of Penalt the sum of five pounds To Margaret the Wife of Joseph WILLIAMS of Landogo the sum of five pounds To Ann WILLIAMS Daughter of John WILLIAMS of Landogo the sum of five pounds To my Neice Joan BARROW Daughter of my Brother John BARROW the sum of two pounds ten shillings To my Neice Frances BARROW Daughter of my said Brother John BARROW the sum of two pounds ten shillings To Ann the Daughter of Mary ROSSER of Trellegg the sum of two pounds To Mary the Daughter of Thomas PRITCHARD of Trellegg the sum of two pounds To Margaret the Wife of John DAVIES of Trellegg the sum of one pound To my Sister Hannah KNIGHT of the City of Bristoll Widow the sum of ten pounds To my Neice Ann Daughter of my said Sister Hannah KNIGHT the sum of ten pounds To my Neice Molly BARROW Daughter of my Brother Catchmay BARROW the sum of five pounds To Richard LEWIS Son of George LEWIS of Landogo the sum of five pounds To Catchmay LEWIS Son of the said George LEWIS the sum of five pounds To Ann the Daughter of Edward WATKINS deceased Brother in Law of my late Husband now married and living in Gloucestershire the sum of one pound I likewise give the sum of one pound to be distributed in Bread to the Poor at the Discretion of my Executor herein after named at whose Discretion 'tis my Desire to be buryed at Trellegg And it is also my Request to my Brother in Law Thomas GWIN that my Executor has one Months time after my Decease to clear the House I live in All the Rest of my Goods Chattels and Personal Estate herein not before bequeathed I give and bequeath to my Nephew in Law William HOPKINS of Landogo and do hereby nominate and appoint and make him sole Executor of this my Will in Witness whereof I have hereunto set my Hand and Seal this seventh day of June one thousand seven hundred and fifty Ann GWIN Signed Sealed and Delivered and Published and Declared by the said Testatrix Ann GWIN as and for her last Will and Testament in the Presence of us who at her Request and in her presence have attested the due Execution hereof Jas DAVIES Geo LEMOYS

 

This will was proved at London before the right worshipfull John Battesworth Doctor of Laws Master Keeper or Commisionary of the Prerogative Court of Canterbury Lawfully constituted the twenty fourth day of November in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and fifty by the oath of William Hopkins the sole executor in the said will named to whom administration was granted of all and singular the goods chattels and credits of the said deceased being first sworn by commission duly to administer
