In the name of God Amen the
eaightteens day of August acording to the computation of the Church of England
one thousand seven hundred and twelth I Gwenllian Beavan of parish of
Goytre in the County of Monmoth within ye diocess of Landaff being sick in boydy
but of good and perfect memory thanks be to Almighty God do make, constitute,
ordein, and declare this my last will and testament in manor and forme
following and first being penitent and sorry for all my sins most humbly
begging pardon and forgivenes for the same I give and comend my soul to
almighty God my saviour and redeemer whome by the meritts of Jesus Christ I
trust and believe assuredly to be saved, and to have full remission and
forgivenes of all my sins, and now for the sorting of my temporall estate and
such goods, I do order give and dispose the same in maner and forme
following. Item I give towards my
funerall the sum of ten pounds to be paied by my executor. I do give and bequeath to my best beloved
father and my executor the sum of fiveteene pounds wich mony lieth in the hand
of Charls Morgan to be payed three mounth after my decease. I do give and bequeath to my best beloved
father the sum of six pounds teen sillings.
I do give and bequeath to my best beloved brother William Beavan
the sum of six pounds sixteen shillings wich monny lieth in William Beavan
his hand the other six pounds that lieth in William Beavan his hand and
the ten shilling to be payed to my executor to be payed three years after my
decease. I do give and bequeath to my
beloved sister Jane the wife of John Morgan one shiling. I do give and bequeath to my best beloved Ciscill
Walters the wife of Beavan all my wearing aparell, all the rest of
my goods I do give to my executor David Beavan my father of Goytre whome
I name and apoint to be my executor this my last will and testamant. In witness wherof of the said Gwenllian
Beavan to this my last will and testament set my hand and seal the day and
yeare above writen the marke of Gwenllian Beavan
