On the fourth day of November 1885
Letters of Administration of the personal Estate of George Dixon late of
Commercial Road, Newport, in the County of Monmouth, carpenter, deceased who
died on the sixteenth day of September 1870 at Commercial Road aforesaid, left
unadministered by Jane Dixon, widow, deceased, whilst living the lawful
relict of the said intestate were granted by Her Majesty’s High Court of
Justice in the District Registry attached to the Probate Division thereof at
Llandaff to George Dixon of Pontypool in the said County, tin worker,
one of the natural and lawful children and one of the next of kin of the said
deceased, he having been first sworn duly to administer. Former Grant District Registry at Llandaff,
December 1870.
Sureties - Watkin Rowlands of
Croesyceiliog in the said County, farmer, and James John Cole of
Devon Place, Newport aforesaid, Accountant.
Gross Estate £193-14-8. No deduction of debts including leaseholds.
