This is the last will and testament of me Henry England of Long Load in the County of Somerset, carpenter. I give and bequeath to my son William England all my tools and stock in trade and to my daughter Mary Elizabeth England the north front of my dwelling house with pantry behind together with my bed and bedstead. I give and bequeath to the others my children viz Maria England, George England, Joan England, Sarah Ann Roberts and Susan England all the residue of my cottages (occupied by C Jeanes and George Dyer) together with the garden and orchard adjoining, also the residue of my household goods. The said household goods to be disposed of as my executors hereunder mentioned shall think fit. And the two cottages and garden and orchard last mentioned may be sold within reasonable time after my decease if the said legatees shall so agree. My executors to receive all rents and monies due to me at the time of my decease and after paying all my just debts and funeral expenses shall proceed to divide the remainder equally between the last mentioned five children. But should the personal effects be insufficient to meet the liabilities then the rents of the said cottages, garden and orchard shall be appropriated until such time as the said liabilities shall have been discharged. And in case the said legatees shall not agree to sell then my executors mentioned in this my will shall receive the rents quarterly and apply them in the manner hereinbefore mentioned namely to divide them equally between the last five children named in this my will. I appoint Mr George Dudridge of Long Load and Mr Simeon Dyer of Long Load executors of this my will. Lastly I revoke all former wills by me made and declare this to be my last and only will.
