            In the Name of God Amen I Edward Prosser of the parish of Tregare in the County of Monmouth farmer being weak in body but of sound mind memory and understanding praised be god for the same Do make and ordain this my last Will and Testament in manner and form following (that is to say) I give and bequeath all my farming Stock Implements of Husbandry Goods Cattles Chattels and Effects of what nature or kind soever unto my friends Thomas Jeffreys of the parish of Bryngwyn in the County of Monmouth and Thomas Thomas of the parish of Penrose in the said County their Executors Administrators and Assigns In trust to permit my loving wife Margaret Prosser to hold use occupy and enjoy the same for and during the term of her natural life in case she shall continue a widow but not otherwise and from and immediately after her decease or ceasing to be my widow Then upon further trust to permit and suffer my son William Prosser and my Daughter Ann Prosser to use occupy and enjoy the same jointly And furthermore from and immediately after her decease or ceasing to continue my widow or keep company with any man with intention to defraud my children then and in that case I will and order the said Thomas Jeffreys and Thomas Thomas do immediately take to my farm during the remainder of the Lease which shall happen to be then to come and unexpired Upon further trust to permit and suffer my said Son William Prosser and my Daughter Ann Prosser to use occupy and enjoy the same Then and in that case I give and bequeath to my said Wife the sum of thirty pounds  a year yearly and every year during the term of her natural life to be paid her by my Executors by quarter or half yearly instalments as she shall seem most convenient to receive the same.  I also give her my said Wife the best feather bed that is in my house with all appurtenances thereto belonging and if my said children should diagree to live together Then I will and order that the Sum of two hundred Pounds be paid to my daughter Ann Prosser by my Executors out of my Stock as and for her part and share of the same and the residue or remaining part I give to my son William Prosser.  I also give and bequeath the Sum of fourteen hundred Pounds together with all interest due thereon to and amongst my said two Children share and share alike.  And I do hereby nominate constitute and appoint the said Thomas Jeffreys and Thomas Thomas joint Executors of this my last will and Testament.  And lastly I do hereby revoke and make void all former Wills by me at any time heretofore made and do declare this to be my last Will and Testament.  In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal the twentieth day of April in the year of our Lord One thousand Eight hundred and twelve.  Edward Prosser  (LS)
