In the name of God Amen, I William Daniel of the parish of Panteague in the County of Monmouth, being in perfect bodily health, and of sound and disposing mind and memory, do hereby make and constitute this my last will and testament as followeth.
First I give and bequeath unto my daughter Mary the wife of Thomas Mawfut the sum of five pounds. Also I give unto my daughter Martha the wife of Aron Harris the sum of two pounds ten shillings. Also I give unto my son William Daniel the sum of five pounds, and also the five pounds that will be due after my decease from the Union Club in Pontypool. And also I give and bequeath unto my son David Daniel all the rest and residue of my monies, goods and chattels and personal estate that I may die possessed of wheresoever being and by whomsoever due unto me at my decease after the paying of my debts, legacies and personal expences. And also I appoint my said son David Daniel my whole and sole executor of this my last will and testament, leaving to his choice and discretion where and in what manner to conduct my funeral, desiring that he will pay the aforesaid legacies in six months after my decease, and also the sum of two pounds ten shillings unto my daughter Ann as aforesaid. Dec 19th 1803 David Daniel, Panteague, natural & lawful son and sole exor named in the foregoing will was sworn to the truth thereof and to the faithful performance of the same and that the goods, chattels & credits of the said decd do not amount in value to the sum of three hundred pounds
Proved at Landaff before the Chancellor on the 19th day of December 1803 on the oath of the son and sole executor
