David Daniel of Llanvihangel Pontymoile 1852.

This is the last will and testament of me David Daniel of the parish of Llanvihangel Pontymoil in the County of Monmouth, bachelor.

I give, devise and bequeath to my neice Ann Rosser, wife of John Rosser, her heirs and assigns a house tenement and garden situated at Croes yn y Pant in the parish of Mamhilad in the said County of Monmouth, now in the occupation of Eli Jenkins, cordwainer.

Also I give devise and bequeath to my neice Martha Jones, wife of William Jones, her heirs and assigns, a house tenement and garden situate at Croes yn y Pant in the said parish of Mamhilad, now in the occupation of William Phillips.

Also I give, devise and bequeath to my niece Rachel Summerfield, wife of William Summerfield, her heirs and assigns a house or tenement situate in Trosnant in the parish of Trevethin in the said County of Monmouth now in the occupation of William Rogers.

Likewise I give and bequeath to my nephew Aaron Harris the sum of five pounds.

All the rest residue and remainder of my personal estate and effects of what nature or kind soever and wheresoever (after payment of my just debts and funeral and testamentary expences) I give and bequeath to my said three nieces Ann Rosser, Martha Jones and Rachel Summerfield, daughters of my sister Martha Harris, in equal shares and proportions absolutely.

I hereby appoint my said neices Ann Rosser, Martha Jones and Rachel Summerfield joint executrixes of this my last will and testament

In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this third day of October one thousand eight hundred and thirty three. The mark of David Daniel.

Signed sealed published and declared by the said David Daniel the testator as and for his last will and testament in the presence of us who at his request in his presence and in the presence of each other have hereunto signed our names as witnesses. The word "devise" being interlined in the first page before these presents were signed. Elizabeth Probert; Catherine Powell; John Probert, Ponty Pool, Clerk.

21st day of October 1852. Ann Rosser (the wife of John Rosser) and Rachel Summerfield (the wife of William Summerfield), the lawful nieces of the deceased and the surviving executrixes in this will named were duly sworn as such and that the goods chattels and credits of the deceased are under the value of twenty pounds, and that the testator died on the 7th day of May 1852, before me William Crawley, Surrogate

An invatory of goods and chattles the property of Mr David Daniel a batchelor of the parish of Goytre in the County Monmouth deceased the seventh day of May last 1852
