Elizabeth Bigham of Llangoven 1813.

In the name of God Amen I Elizabeth Bigham, spinster, of the parish of Langoven in the County of Monmouth and Diocese of Landaf, do make this my last will and testament. My temporal estate I bequeath and dispose of in the following manner. First to my brother William Bigham I give and bequeath the sum of twenty pounds, also to my sister Frances Hall I give and bequeath the sum of twenty pounds. And also to my sister Mary Herbert the sum of twenty pounds, the said legacies to be paid at the expiration of two years after my decease. The residue and remainder of my estate, with my goods, chattels, Bonds, with all properties of what kind soever to me appertaining I give, devise and bequeath to my brother John Bigham, whom I constitute and appoint the whole and sole executor of this my last will and testament, and I do hereby utterly revoke, disallow and disannul all former bequests, will and legacies by me heretofore in any wise left or made, declaring, ratifying & confirming this and no other to be my last will and testament. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this fifth day of May in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred & thirteen. Elizabeth Bigham

Signed sealed and declared by the within named testatrix (Elizabeth Bigham) to be her last will and testament in presence of us, who subscribed our names in presence of the sd testatrix and of each other. Wm Williams, Minister of Langoven; Joseph Brown of the parish of Langoven

5th October 1813. John Bigham of the parish of Langoven in the County of Monmouth, the lawful brother & sole executor named in this will was sworn to the truth thereof &c. And that the goods chattels and credits of the said deceased do not amount in value to the sum of two hundred pounds before me. Chas Powell AM, Surrogate.
