In the name of god Amen I Anne Reynolds of the parish of Lantrissen in the countie of Monmothe widowe being sicke in bodie but whole in minde and of good and pfect memorie (thankes be to Allmightie god) do make and ordeine this my last will and testament in man’r and forme followinge.  First I commend my soule into the handes of god my maker hooping of eternall salvation throughe the meritte of Christe Jesus my onelie saviour and redeem’r, and my bodie to be buryed in Christian buriall in the parish churche of Lantrissen.  Itm I give and bequeathe to the Cathedrall churche of Landaffe xiid and iis to Sr Walter our vicar towardes my forgotten tithes.  Itm I give iiis to the parish churche of Lantrissen aforesaide.  Itm I give and bequeathe to my sonne John Reynolds one feather bed nexte the beste, one feather bolster, and arws? cov’lid to the same belonging.  Itm I give & bequeathe to my sonne Edward Reynolds all the rest of my goods moveable and unmoveable, cattell and chattell whatsoev’r, towardes the discharging of my debts hereafter specified, and the ov’rplus or remainder of the said goods to be and continue to the use of the said Edward.  To William Keene of Strowd water in the countie of Glocester vl.  To Miss Margarett Kemys viil.  To Susan Keene vl.  To Mr William Kemys of Kemys iil xs.  Itm I doe appoint my sonne James Reynolds to br ov’seer of his brother, to settle him and his estate as seeme meeste? and convenient unto the sd James.  And I doe constitute, nominate and appoint my trustie & well beloved cosen Thomas Reynolds of Lantrissen aforesaid gent to be sole executor of this my last will and testam’t.  in wittness whereof I have hereunto put my hands and seale the xvi daie of this instant September Anno Regis Caroli &c quinto Annog dni 1629.   Signum Anna Reynolds
