In the name of god Amen the xxviii
day of June Anno dni 1692 I Anne Keen of the towne of Caerlion in the
County of Monmouth, widow being sicke & weake in body but of good and pfect
memory praise to Allmighty god therefore doe make publish & ordayne this my
last Will & testament in maner and forme followinge That is to say first
and principally I Commend my soule to allmighty god my Creator hoping &
stedfastly believing assuredly to be saved in and through the merits death and
passion of Jesus Christ my onely Saviour & redeemer, And I comitt my body
to the earth to be buried in Christian burial in the pish Church of
Christchurch. Item I give towards the
repairin of Christchurch iis vid. Item
I give & bequeath the xx£ now in my sonne Rogers hands & given
me by my husband by his last Will I give the same xx£ to my sonne William
& my daughters Mary & Elizabeth to be equally divided
betweene them. Itm I give &
bequeath to John Inon my grandchild the litle blacke mare which my
husband formerly gave? him. Item I give
all my wearing App’ell to be equally divided betweene my said two
daughters. Itm I give to my sonne Roger
vs. Itm I give to Elizabeth the
daughter of my sonne Phe Keene xiid.
Itm I doe nominate and appoint my grandson Henry Keene the sonne
of William Keene my sonne to be my sole Executor of this my last Will
& testament to whom I give all the rest of my goods cattle chattles debts
& prsonall estate whatsoever utterly revoaking all other former Wills by me
at any time heretofore made. Itm I doe
no’mate and appoint my sonne William Keene to be gardian & overseer
over my said Executor during his minority, & to see my debts paid & my
funerall expences discharged. In
wittness whereof I have hereunto put my hand & Seale the day moneth &
