RACINE - Ruth O. Christensen, 76, passed away in St. Mary's Medical Center on Wednesday, January 28, 1998.

Mrs. Christensen was born in Racine on October 28, 1921, to the late Marinus and Anna (nee: Andersen) Molgaard. In Racine on March 1, 1952, she was united in marriage to Willard H. Christensen, who preceded her in death on October 22, 1994.

Surviving her are one son and daughter-in-law, Edward "Skip" and Sandra Christensen of Clinton, Md.; two grandchildren and their spouses, Christopher and Patti Christensen of Fort Knox, Ky. and Christine and Michael Phillips of Raleigh, N.C.; one great-grandson, Dennis Christensen; one brother and sister-in-law, Mervin and Virginia Molgaard of Indianapolis, Ind.; and one sister-in-law, Gina Molgaard of Watersmeet, Mich. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Mrs. Christensen was also preceded in death by her son, Ronald, and her brother, Enoch.

Funeral services will be held in the Wilson Funeral Home on Monday afternoon, February 2, 1998, at 1 p.m. with Rev. Nathan James officiating. Private burial services will be held in West Lawn Memorial Park. Friends may meet with the family in the funeral home on Monday from noon until the time of services.
