Paul Clifford Molgaard (1928-1998)
Obituary
Paul C. Molgaard, 69, formerly of Kenosha, late of
Elkhorn, died Saturday (Jan. 24, 1998) at Lakeland Medical Center.
He was born Dec. 25, 1928, in Kenosha, the son of Carl
and Dora (Hansen) Molgaard.
He lived in Kenosha until 1967, then resided in Salem
and the surrounding area before moving to Elkhorn in 1993.
He attended local schools.
On June 26, 1954, he married Bea Stambaugh in Kenosha.
He served as a corporal in the U.S. Army, from March
30, 1948, until March 26, 1952, earning the Korean Service Medal with
two Bronze stars.
He was employed as a welder and machinist at J.I. Case
Co. in Racine and Snap-On Inc. Later he worked as a supervisor at Quaker
Industries in Antioch, IL.
He enjoyed woodworking and carpentry.
Surviving are two sons, Brad and Michael G.
Molgaard,
both of Carlsbad, N.M.; a brother, Daniel Molgaard of Kenosha; three
sisters, Sarah Dissmore of Kenosha, Esther Flood of Carrollton, Texas,
and Eunice Young of Zion, IL" and two grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; three
brothers, a twin brother, Philip, and Enoch and Joseph; and a sister,
Martha Martinez.
The Piasecki-Althaus-Thulin Funeral Home, 3720 39th
Ave., is in charge of arrangements.
