Obituary
Martha Molgaard Martinez, 71, formerly of Kenosha,
late of Monterrey, Mexico, died July 5, 1994, at Nova Hospital,
Monterrey.
Born April 14, 1922, in Iowa, she was the daughter of
the late Karl and Dora (Hansen) Molgaard.
She moved to Kenosha as a child and attended local
schools. She graduated from the Great Lakes Bible Institute, Zion, Ill.
In 1956, she left Kenosha and moved to Mombasa,
Africa, to work as a missionary. She moved to Monterrey in 1959 to work
as a missionary and has lived there since.
In May 1964, she married Manuel Martinez, in
Monterrey.
While living in Kenosha, she was affiliated with the Lakeshore
Tabernacle.
Surviving are her husband; a son, Leo, Monterrey; a
daughter, Dora, Monterrey; three brothers, Dan and Enoch
Molgaard, both
of Kenosha, and Paul Molgaard, Elkhorn; three sisters, Esther
Flood,
Carolton, Texas, Eunice Young, Zion, and Sarah Dissmore, Kenosha; and
two grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Joseph and
Phillip, and a sister, Esther, in infancy.
