Services for Marinus Christian Molgaard, who died
Thursday, (Feb. 1, 1968), were held by Dunedin Lodge No. 2275, BPOE, at
7 p.m. Friday at Moss Dunedin Chapel. Funeral services were yesterday
morning at 11 at St. Andrews Presbyterian Church, conducted by the Rev.
William T. Anderson, Jr., minister. Burial will be at Oakwood Cemetery,
Monticello, Iowa. Honorary pallbearers were active and inactive elders
and deacons of St. Andrews Presbyterian Church, and James Jennings,
William Eft, Ted Larson, Robert O'Callaghan, Ray Bolles, Tom House,
DeLeon Shepherd, Jack Freeborn and Dee Lovellas..

Molgaard, Marinus Christian, 73, 1664 Bayshore Blvd.,
Dunedin, Thursday (Feb. 1, 1968). Born in Aalborg, Denmark, came here
eight years ago from Madison, Wisconsin. Came to the United States when
he was 17. Retired regional manager of the Maytag Company, Minneapolis,
Minn. Division. Member St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church; charter member
of Dunedin Elks Lodge No. 2275. Survived by his wife Luella L., Dunedin;
two sons, Enoch, Saint Germaine, Wis., and Mervin, Racine, Wis.; a
daughter, Mrs. Ruth Christensen, Racine; five grandchildren; two
great-grandchildren; a brother, Carl, Kenosha, Wis., and two brothers
and three sisters, in Denmark. Moss Dunedin Chapel, Dunedin.

Marinus C. Molgaard
DUNEDIN - Marinus Christian Molgaard, 73, of 1664 Bayshore Blvd., died
today (Feb. 1, 1968) at Mease Hospital. Born in Aalborg, Denmark, he
came to the United States at the age of 17 and moved to Dunedin eight
years ago from Madison, Wis. He was retired regional manager of the
Minneapolis, Minn., Division of the Maytag Company. He was a member of
St. Andrews Presbyterian Church and was a former elder and a member of
the Board of Sessions at the time of his death. He was a charter member
of Dunedin Lodge 2275, BPOE. Survivors include his widow, Luella L.,
Dunedin; two sons, Enoch, St. Germaine, Wis., and Mervin, Racine, Wis.;
a daughter, Mrs. Ruth Christensen, Racine; five grandchildren; two
great-grandchildren; a brother, Carl, Kenosha, Wis., and two brothers
and three sisters in Denmark. Fraternal services will be at 7:00 p.m.
tomorrow at Moss Dunedin Chapel, conducted by Dunedin Lodge 2275, BPOE.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Andrews Presbyterian
Church, conducted by the Rev. William E. Anderson, minister. Burial will
follow in Oakwood Cemetery, Monticello, Iowa. |
