Dora (Dagmar) Hanson (1893-1971)
Dagmar Hanson was born on December 10, 1893, to Jonas
Hanson and Trine Nelson in Marble Township, Lincoln County,
Minnesota. Her father had died unexpectedly of typhoid fever before she
was born.
When she was older, she began using
the name Dora, which she said was the "American" equivalent to
Dagmar.
