In State of Arkansas,In the year of our Lord Jesus Christ, One thousand eight hundred and thirty-nine, February the ninth day.
To Whom These Presents May Concern, Greetings:
I, David Mobley, do by this, this my last will and testament, give and bequeath and declare as follows, to wit: I give to hands of Elijah Kelley and William Gentry as executors, my property for the following purposes, to wit: To have said property appraised and delivered to legatee, to settle my estate and do all other duries incumbunt as excutors.
I give and bequeath to my son, William Mobley, to have and hold forever, the following property, to wit: One black face mare, about three years old, now in my possession, twelve head of cattle that he now calls his own and their increase from this date; sixteen head of hogs and their increase from this date, which he now claims.
I give and bequeath to each everyone of my other children, to have and to hold forever, one cow and calf and their increase, to come in possession of the same at ten years of age.
I give and bequeath to my present wife, Barbara Mobley, all my estate, both real and personal, that shall remain after the aforementioned bequests shall be satisfied, the expenses of the Excutorship paid, and all just debts liquidated, to have and to hold so long as she shall remain my widow and; and further I give and bequeath to her the power to receive, hold and distribute, according to the design of this will, the property mentioned in the third bequeath, and shall not have been distributed before this will shall take effect.
In testimony whereof, I hereunto set my hand and seal, this 9th day of February, A. D. 1839.
