Some
believe the "W" is her middle initial or her "Indian" name, others say
it was her last name initial. Also believed that she was full-blooded
Native American Indian. Family stories report that her children had a
distinct "Indian" appearance! Would love to confirm the stories and put
to rest that chapter!
Joseph A. Mobley (see above child) was married to Minnie A.
Crutchfield. She is found in the Indian Scrolls as well as a child, as
having been Cherokee Indian.
