Receipt for the Sale of the Slave, Samuel
December 15, 1859Received of Joseph T Fincher fourteen hundred and fifty dollars for a negro boy by the name of Samuel about thirty years of age which boy I warrant to be sound in body and mind (so far as I know) and a slave for Life and also warrant the title of said boy against the claim of all persons whatever this the 15th day of December 1859
