Users of genealogy computer programs are involved in:
Family History- finding ancestors and learning all they can about their families' lives.
Genealogy- finding ancestors and descendants of each individual.
Books- finding and organizing data to write a family story and/or medical history.
These programs can be of great value to the novice (newbie) as well as the experienced researcher. The goals of our Group include:
To help members get the most out of their computer genealogy programs with the least amount of frustration.
To share problems and solutions.
To find new ways to input family data.
To learn how to make use of the printed reports.
These programs will not do your research for you, but it will show you who to look for next! There are now many places on the world-wide web to look for research aids and ideas. We will list a few of them in our web page, but when you use a search engine to help--the sky's the limit.
