This is the last issue of the Robbins Journal. It has been a pleasure to publish the Journal for the past seven years but it is time to move on to other things. I am continuing to research the Robbins family. So, feel free to write and, if I can, I will continue to try to connect up those searching the same family lines or similar areas.

This issue has a listing of the current subscribers and a cumulative table of contents for all the issues. I had originally planned on doing an index, but that turned out to be such an undertaking that I abandoned the idea. I hope the table of contents is helpful.

I am seeking information about the ancestors of Vincent ROBBINS who married Charity RYKER on Dec. 22, 1787, in Jefferson County, Kentucky, and Vincent's sister, Azuba ROBBINS, who married George WASHBURN ca. 1785, probably also in Kentucky.

1. I am trying to locate information on George ROBBINS, born Aug. 1893 in Tioga Co., PA. He was the oldest child born to Amos E. ROBBINS and Amos' 2nd wife, Ella M. AUMICK. George had two sisters who died when they were small - Gertrude M. and Elnora A. ROBBINS. The sisters are buried in Frost Settlement Cemetery, Covington, PA.
2. I am trying to find out where and when Welland WOOD died. He was born in 1870 in Sullivan, PA, married Emma Aurelia ROBBINS in 1889. They had one child, Edson L. WOOD, born 24 Oct. 1894 or 15 Nov. 1891 in Sullivan, PA. Edson was in World War I from Rochester, NY. About 1936 he gave Cuba, NY as his address when applying for his Social Security number. Where and when did Edson die?
3. My great-grandfather, Simeon Edson ROBBINS, was listed as being born in NH on all the censuses and also his death certificate. But on the obituary, he was listed as being born in New Haven, CT. Simeon was born on 22 July 1831, came down to Tioga Co., PA from NH around 1840 and died in PA on 16 Sept. 1908 in Covington, PA. He is buried in Frost Settlement Cemetery, Covington, PA. Can anyone give me correct information on his birthplace?
4. My great-grandfather, Simeon Edson ROBBINS, married Mary Melissa Gardner. Her parents were Ebenezer and Aurelia ( ? ). Can anyone give me Aurelia's surname? Ebenezer Gardner was born c1804 in NY and Aurelia ( ? ) was born in c1803 in CT, according to the censuses. Their other children were: Nathan B. (b. 1830 NY), Ansel (b. c1828 NY), David (b. c1833 NY), Emily (b. c1835 PA), and also Francis L. (b. c1827 NY).
