MYERS FAMILY HISTORY
My earliest known Myers ancestor is Francis Myers, born before 1765 and died about 1812/1813 in Pendleton Co., Kentucky. He was married to Catherine ("Caty") [--?--], who was born before 1765 and died afer 1820. They were the parents of at least 12 children, the names of only a few are known: George, Catherine ("Caty"), and Rachel.
George Myers was born on 24 May 1786 in Virginia and died on 24 September 1875 in Decatur Co., Indiana. He was married to Margaret Moore on 7 June 1810 in Pendleton Co., Kentucky. Margaret, the daughter of Benjamin Moore and [--?--] was born on 7 November 1792 in Virginia and died on 2 December 1863 in Decatur Co., Indiana. Both she and George are buried in the Harris City Cemetery in Decatur Co., Indiana.

- Melvina M. Myers, born 1818 in Pendleton Co., Kentucky, died on 13 November 1880. Married to (1) William Franklin Robbins, (2) Robert Lavery.
- Catherine Myers, born 1819, died 13 October 1899; married to Jacob F. Robbins.
- William H. Myers, born 6 August 1824, died 8 August 1904; married Elizabeth ("Betsy") Annis.
- Elizabeth Myers, born 1 January 1827, died 18 June 1898; married William Spillman.
- Sarah A. R. Myers, born about 1832, died 1869; married James Seth Harford.
