Otto and Martha were married on 27 December 1895 in Reinfeld, Pomerania, Germany.

Friedrich Richard Wilhelm ("Fritz") Giegler was born on 6 April 1873 in Kurtschlag, Brandenburg, Germany. He emigrated to the United States in 1909 as a single man. At that time his residence was listed as Lichtenberg, Germany. He was married to Lydia Margaret Griggel on 26 February 1927 in Hoboken, Hudson Co., New Jersey. Lydia was born on 2 December 1895 in Hartford, Connecticut and died on 26 July 1958. Fritz was also called Frederick William Richard Giegler in the United States. He died on 14 March 1956 in Elizabeth, Union Co., New Jersey. Both he and Lydia were cremated.

Paul Carl Giegler, youngest child of Fritz and Mathilde (Mittge) Giegler, was born on 26 March 1881 in Berlin, Brandenburg, Germany. He emigrated to the United States with his mother Mathilde in 1903. On 8 August 1907 he was married to his cousin Martha Marie Bartsch. She was born on 20 April 1885, also in Berlin, to Johannes and Marie (Mittge) Bartsch. Martha died on 1 January 1955 in River Forest, Illinois. Paul died on 28 May 1956 in Forest Park, Illinois. Both are buried in Franklin Park Cemetery, Forest Park, Illinois.

Carl Mittge, the first child of Karl and Henrietta Mittge, was stillborn or died in infancy.

Lecian ("Lee") Mittge, only daughter of Karl and Henrietta Mittge, was born on 20 October 1877 in Germany. She died on 28 September 1927 in Thomas (near to Kent), King Co., Washington. She was married three times: first husband's name is unknown but it is said she married in Butte, Montana; the second was Jack Lynch; the third husband, who survived her, was Lars Holland. Lee and Lars were married circa 1917/18 in Alaska. There were no children.

Carl Frederick Mittge was born on 5 June 1877 in Templin, Brandenburg, Germany and died on 10 September 1944 in Centralia, Lewis Co., Washington. He was married to Elsie Fulford on 13 September 1905 in Lebanon, Laclede Co., Missouri. Elsie was born on 30 November 1883 in Lebanon, Missouri, and died in Centralia, Washington, on 15 January 1973. Both are buried in Mountain View Cemetery in Centralia. Carl and his family were in Los Angeles, California, by 1909, and shortly after homesteaded in the Oregon high desert country around Fort Rock, Lake County, Oregon. There they stayed five years, about 1913 to 1918, when they moved to near Fort Lewis, Washington, and later to Centralia. He records he appears as Carl or Charles.

Rudolph Paul Mittge was born on 21 July 1882 in Templin, Brandenburg, Germany, and died on 9 May 1973 in Raymond, Pacific Co., Washington. The youngest child of Karl and Henrietta Mittge, he accompanied them as a small child to the United States in 1887. He married Gladys Camilla Merrill on 20 March 1922 in Eminence, Shannon Co., Missouri. Gladys, the daughter of Stephen Edward and Laura Lucretia Ellen (Wolfe) Merrill, was born on 21 September 1903 in St. Louis, Missouri and died on 8 May 1999 in Raymond, Pacific Co., Washington. Paul, as he was known, died on 9 May 1973 in Raymond, Washington; both he and Gladys are buried in Fern Hill Cemetery located outside of Raymond in the small community of Menlo.

Adolf Mittge was born circa 1873 in Germany. He came to the United States as a 19-year-old in 1892 but it is not known how long he stayed. He died in 1914 in the First World War fighting on the side of Germany. He was married to Helene [--?--].

Rudolf Mittge was born on 6 March 18__ in Germany and died on 27 May 1918 in France, during the First World War. He was buried in the war cemetery at Mons-en-Laonnois, France.

Walter Mittge, the youngest son of Rudolf and Auguste, was also killed in the First World War. No further information is available.

Martha Marie Bartsch, the oldest child of Johannes and Marie (Mittge) Bartsch, was born on 20 April 1885 in Berlin, Brandenburg, Germany. He married her first cousin, Paul Carl Giegler; please see above for additional information.

Richard John Bartsch was born on 24 November 1886 in Berlin, Brandenburg, Germany and died on 6 December 1960 in Anaheim, Orange Co., California. He was married to (1) Emma Menke and had one child and then was married (2) to Adeline Brunke and had a second child. Richard Bartsch was an artist.

Otto Krieger, the only child of Herman and Marie (Mittge) Krieger, was born on 27 July 1893 in Germany and died on 6 May 1958. His family emigrated to the United States about 1903. Otto was marreid to Minnie Fliege on 7 October 1916. Minnie was born on 8 August 1892 in Germany and died on 22 December 1988 in Edwardsville, Madison Co., Illinois.
